About me

Hi! My name is Claire de Groot, I'm 24 years old and I live in Hilversum, The Netherlands, with my dog, two cats and my boyfriend. If I had one word to describe myself, it would be creative. I love being creative, in about every possible way: drawing, crafting, miniature building, cutting lino, burning wood, crochetting... Nothing is too crazy for me! I also love puzzeling, playing games, podcasting, walking and baking.

Apart from all my hobbies, I have lots of interests that make me really happy. To name a few: Dolly Parton, 60s and 70s music in general, dogs and cats, and plants. That last one made me start my webshop. I absolutely adore plants, but my hands aren't as green as I'd like them to be. That's why I invented my paper plants in 2021, totally handmade and immortal! I started selling them, and since then my webshop has grown with lots of new products. I'm hoping one day I get to do this as my full time job. My head is always so full of new creative ideas! Next to being this enthousiastic, creative person, I'm also autistic. The autism probably makes me this enthousiastic and full of passion. Unfortunately, autism isn't only my strong side, and I struggle a lot with it in my daily life. This is why I now have a service dog in training named Elvi. All of the profit I make with my shop goes straight to funding her training. You can read more about this here.
